Why you need to test your HgH levels

The Need to do an HgH test comes directly after considering growth hormone supplementation. Yes, you will need a way to establish a baseline, track the improvements your HgH Therapy provides, and monitor against abuse. Performing an Hgh Test to establish a baseline will give an indication about HgH deficiency for your age and provide you with a point from which you can see if the HgH Therapy you follow is having any results. Measuring results important because not all growth hormone products are suitable for all individuals(see HgH Types), some products are scams, and even if a HgH product could work for you it may not, or to a lesser degree because of your individual aspects. HgH Testing will let you know early on, whether a particular product works for you.

If a specific HgH Therapy is not giving you results (you should at least sleep sounder and feel better after a month) AND there is no measurable increase in measured levels, STOP the HgH Therapy and start to orient yourself on another product. There is no need to wait six months if you have not experienced any results in the first month, or even weeks.

If you experience "feel good" signs with no increase in measured levels OR have an increase in measured levels but no signs you might want to wait it out and see.

Testing HgH through IGF-1 Levels

So what will you measure. Testing HgH is possible but very cumbersome. HgH is released in pulses when asleep and is only available for a short time(less then an hour) The Liver however, produces insulin like growth factors(IGF) in response to the availability of HgH. Once produced IGF-1 remains available in the body for more than 24 hours, this makes it suitable for monitoring.

Monitoring IGF-1 does have it's own pitfalls however, as it is produced by the liver, any liver disjunction will essentially disqualify this testing method. If malnutrition is an issue , the liver will not be able to produce IGF-1 matching HgH levels in your body. In General it can be said that any form of dietary problem will lead to decreased production of IGF-1 and diminish the efficacy of HgH supplementation therapies.

IGF-1 is not only a monitoring value for HgH Testing, it is also the main working agent of human growth hormone. It is crucial to have a healthy diet when you are on a HgH Therapy.

HgH Testing can be conducted in a couple of ways:

  • Have your physician refer you to a endocrinologist, clinic or laboratory. You can have a total hormone screening and find out what the state is of your endocrine system.
  • Use a home test to perform a hormone screen or a IGF-1 Test

Home tests will usually have you collect a tiny blood sample or saliva sample and send this sample up to the laboratory for analysis. After ten to fifteen days you should have your results back by mail.
